There is a lot of quality assurance activity right now, from internal reviews to new workshops, and research projects! Read on for all the details.

Quality Matters Research Project

We have an exciting opportunity for you to participate in that will help both you and Digital Learning. We’d love to offer you a chance to get to work one-on-one with an Instructional Designer, regardless of online format, by participating in a research project called “Impact of Quality Matters Training on Student Success.”

In brief, we are studying how a Quality Matters professional development experience can lead to course revisions that impact student success. If you are interested in participating in this statewide research project exploring how online course design impacts student success, check out our blog post for more information.

New QM Professional Development: Accessibility & UDL

The Continuous Improvement team at Digital Learning is excited to introduce a new asynchronous 2-week workshop, focused on applying best practices in accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to your online course design. This workshop, called “Inclusive Design for Everyone: Applying Standard 8 (IDE8),” is based on General Standard 8 (Accessibility and UDL) of the QM rubric. Upon successful completion of this workshop, you will receive a badge of completion, which can be shared on your personal websites, social media, or added to a professional portfolio.
