Adobe Specialist


Alejandro is an Adobe Specialist in the Digital Learning department. He earned his two BFA’s in Photography and Art & Visual Culture Education from the University of Arizona in 2009 and his M. Ed. in Educational Leadership in 2016.  He taught high school photography for 4 years at Amphi High School and for 7 years at Tucson High School. He is also a freelance photographer and editor. Alejandro loves helping people utilize technology and become more familiar with sophisticated programs to take their creative projects to a higher level.

Alejandro believes it’s never too late to learn something new even if it can be difficult to catch up. Software like the Adobe Creative Cloud can give users a competitive edge and extend creativity. Every year he is amazed by the next breakthrough in capabilities in programs like Photoshop that allow people to work smarter and create new and exciting content. He is excited to share knowledge and collaborate with the University of Arizona community and continue to fuel his passion for education.

Alejandro’s favorite Adobe Creative Cloud Apps are Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

In his leisure, Alejandro loves spending time with his newborn son and wife, mountain biking, and collecting and cultivating cacti.
