Matt Romanoski is the Associate Director of Instructional Design for Digital Learning. He earned his Doctor of Education in Leadership and Innovation from Arizona State University, his Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from Northern Arizona University and his Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Arizona in History. His research focuses on instructor presence and student engagement in online learning environments.
Prior to his current role, Matt served as an Instructional Designer in the UA’s College of Nursing and as an Outreach Program Coordinator in the UA’s College of Education. He also worked for eight years at Marana High School as a social studies teacher, head coach for boys’ track, and assistant football coach.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their three children, Mason, Madelyn and Charlotte. They especially like traveling, watching sports, and camping.
The Redesign Cohort is a professional development that offers instructors an opportunity to engage with new trends and best practices for online teaching.
