Teresa Davis is an Instructional Designer for Digital Learning. She holds a Master’s degree in Rhetoric, Composition, and the Teaching of English from the University of Arizona, a Master’s degree in English from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Bachelor’s degree in English (Professional Writing and Public Discourse concentration) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to joining the Digital Learning team, Teresa taught classes in composition, technical writing, and Adobe Creative Cloud for Multimedia Projects, both in person and online. She was also a writing tutor for three years, working primarily with online students in graduate programs at UAB. She credits these experiences with her interest in multimedia projects in online courses, as well as her research work with Adobe Creative Cloud. Other professional and research interests include online teaching and learning, digital and creative literacies, UX in education, and archival work in digital humanities.
When she’s not working, Teresa enjoys reading, playing video, board, and tabletop games with her husband, being entertained by her several fur babies, learning to keep a reef aquarium, and attempting to garden in the desert.
